Taking Form in Bone and Muscle: Cattle and Postcolonial Ecocriticism
Alex Hunt's spezializations are the literature of the US Southwest and ecocriticism.
His interdisciplinary scholarship has focused on Western regional history, ideas of
region/place, and environmental studies; he has published edited collections on the
fiction of Annie Proulx and on postcolonial ecocriticism. He has also published a wide
range of articles on topics from Native American and Chicano literature to Texas
ranching history to critical regionalism in Breaking Bad. Alex Hunt also serves as
current editor of the Panhandle Plains Historical Review.
