Language teachers' digital literacy
Participation information sheet
Dear Language Teacher,
We would like to invite you to participate in a questionnaire study that is designed and carried out by researchers at the University of Graz. The purpose of the research is to better understand digital literacy among language teachers and how it is related to other variables.
Taking part in the study is entirely anonymous and voluntary. The questionnaire takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. You can choose to stop at any time. All sociodemographic data is voluntary, and you cannot be identified from your responses. There are no anticipated risks in participating in this study.
The collected data will be stored safely on a computer and will be subjected to statistical analyses. We will not collect any identifying data with your questionnaire responses. Consequently, any report on this study will neither include any information that will make it possible to identify any participants personally, and any publications will include anonymized data. All or part of the content of the survey data may be used in academic papers, policy papers, conference presentations, or news/blog articles.
Your rights:
In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights at any time:
- right of access to the personal data concerned (Art 15 GDPR),
- right to rectification (Art 16 GDPR) or erasure (Art 17 GDPR) or to restriction of processing (Art 18 GDPR),
- right to data portability (Art 20 GDPR),
- right to object (Art 21 GDPR),
- right to withdraw consent (Art 7 (3) GDPR), which does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
In addition, if you feel that the data collected in this study is misused, you have the right to lodge a complaint (Art 77 GDPR), which should be submitted to the data protection authority.
