Sarah Mercer, Ulla Fürstenberg, and Christina Egger were at the Second Language Learning and Teaching (SLLTT) Conference in Kalisz, Poland last week! Sarah Mercer held a plenary on “Desirable diversity: A plea for plurality in PLLT”, Ulla Fürstenberg presented her findings on “From ELT to TEDL? Teacher Education for Global English” and on behalf of Jennifer Schumm also presented “Giving back to the ELT Profession: A Collaborative Endeavor.” Last, but not least Christina Egger held a presentation on “Transforming English Language Teaching: Developing Linguistic Landscape Tasks”. It was a successful conference and also such a great opportunity to meet each one of these amazing scholars in the field and being able to listen to their presentations!
