In his teacher talk, Raphael Eder will provide us with an insight into how parallel texts can be efficiently used within the context of EFL classes in higher vocational schools (HAK/HAS). He will analyse the didactic potential of such texts and give examples of how he integrates sample texts into writing and speaking activities. He will also address certain challenges and potential drawbacks when working with parallel texts in English lessons.
Raphael Eder started teaching English in February 2022 at the BHAK/BHAS Judenburg in Upper Styria, where his responsibilities also include career counselling.
