CLIL Teacher Wellbeing (Symposium)
On Saturday, 1st December 2018, a symposium focusing on the wellbeing of CLIL teachers in Austria was held at the University of Graz. The symposium started with a presentation of the findings of a nationwide study funded by the ÖNB to investigate CLIL teacher’s wellbeing across a range of educational settings (primary, secondary and tertiary) throughout Austria. Following the presentation of the insights from the main study, there were a series of workshops inspired by the findings from the research, including advice for designing CLIL materials and recommendations for maintaining and protecting teacher wellbeing.
