Putting CLIL Into Practice
The project
Increasingly, more and more schools are offering bilingual forms of education such as by through Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). In order to better understanding the issues facing pre-service teacher in developing their CLIL didactic skills, we have begun a partnership with BRG Petersgasse. Students attending our “Language Education for specific contexts” pro-seminar will prepare and teach CLIL lessons at BRG Petersgasse, gaining practical teaching experience in CLIL and learning from cooperation with more experienced teachers in practice. In turn, we will investigate the development of their CLIL teaching identities and their attitudes towards CLIL approaches.
